I got the idea to use this clip from Oppenheimer after hearing it on the History channel special. I felt that in listening to Oppenheimer talk about the atomic bomb one could hear at some level this burden of regret in his voice. The music is suppose to continue this oppressive, tense feeling that the sound clip provides. The album artwork has obvious associations to the music being that it is a picture of atomic testing, but the idea to use an altered form of the recycling logo came later. Partially in remembering news reports of individuals stealing copper rain gutters from a church to recycle them for money. I felt that adding this idea of good intentions being misused help to add to the atmosphere .
